An illustrated music-tale with hints of Scandinavia

Into the woods, is an illustrated musical fairytale (created by Swedish singer Eskelina) about friendship, trust and what happens when you loose your bearings in the unpredictable and enchanting forest of Love.

Alongside multi-instrumentalist Philippe Desbois, Eskelina creates a luminous and imaginative world of music, encompassing rockn'roll, joyful pop, playfulness and romance.

With a sense of humour, charm and warmth the story springs to life through the colourful imagery of danish illustrator Signe Gabriel. Like Eskelina, Signe grew up in the unique landscapes of Scandinavia, where the forest meets the archipelago. Together they share a strong connection to nature and to the nordic scenery which has served as inspiration for "Into the Woods".

This performance guides us through an adventure of poetry and music, where the two heroes lose their way in an enchanted forest. The mysteries of life and love are hidden in the depths of the woods, and our two heroes must find their way through, back to themselves and to eachother.

The story is narrated in French, English or Swedish and through the English lyrics.

"Into the woods" invites us to discover ourselves, to discover adventure and the magic of the Scandinavian landscapes. An experience where music, imagery and fairytales blend together into a unity which is certain to touch hearts, both young and old.
