Poetic folk with a touch of Scandinavia

Eskelina, a Swedish singer-songwriter established in France, is one of the most captivating voices of the Contemporary Folk scene.

In a delicate mix of World, Scandinavian Folk and « Chanson », Eskelina bridges the gap between her two countries, Sweden and France.

Intently supported by acoustic instruments, drums and vintage synthesizers, she paints us the story of the beauty of the land, the people and time passing by.

Swedish poetry by the Nobel prize winning poet Tomas Tranströmer, set to music by Eskelina, along with original music and lyrics by Eskelina in French; A game of hide-and-seek set between language and meaning, guides us in exploration of the emotion beyond words.
A journey through aspects of humanity, heritage and change, to the High North, and beyond.
